Macrodyne Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce we are expanding our presence in the forging industry through increased sales of our custom hydraulic forging presses and fully automated forging press lines for a variety of hot, warm and cold forging applications.

With the explosive growth in demand for green technologies in power generation such as wind turbines, Macrodyne has seen increased demand for our line of advanced hydraulic forging presses for production of ring blanks, for ring rolling of large bearings and flanges.

The growth in global demand for heavy commercial trucks and various off road vehicles has also been a source of new sales as Macrodyne is supplying various hydraulic forging presses and forging press lines for the manufacture of heavy axle and other associated drive train components.

Many of the older forging presses still in production are generally less productive, less flexible and have higher operating costs both in terms of production efficiency and maintenance costs compared to the new press technologies offered by Macrodyne.

These factors associated with older forging presses can induce a downward cost spiral resulting in higher production costs. In a marketplace with shrinking production volumes, the ability to produce quality parts efficiently and reliably is paramount to success.
